USA Ambassador Virginia Palmer participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 1 construction of the HopeXchange Maternal-Child Health Centre in Kumasi Ghana. This event was covered by 28 media houses.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Ambassador Palmer commented that ‘A healthy start is the first step to a lifetime of good health’. This is the goal of the HopeXchange Medical Centre which has now been in operation since 2016. Since opening its doors, the HopeXchange Medical Center has evolved into a Center of Excellence, thanks in large part to the expertise gained from leading American medical and scientific institutions. This new Maternal Child Health Centre, when completed will elevate the service HopeXchange provides in this area to a new level of healthcare delivery.
