Exciting news!
A pioneering team from the National University Hospital of Singapore, supported by an international coalition from Europe, Ghana, and Singapore, has performed the first Augmented Reality Surgery in Africa at the HopeXchange Medical Center in Ghana.

This technology allows surgeons from leading medical institutions to share their knowledge and experience with HopeXchange. The goal is to make HopeXchange a hub for these advanced surgeries and to train surgeons from other hospitals in West Africa. We also plan to use this technology at HopeXchange Hospital in Guatemala and throughout Central America.
Augmented reality-assisted surgery (ARAS) superimposes a computer-generated image on the surgeon’s view, enhancing their experience. It can be used for training, preparing for, or performing surgeries.
